Sable Systems Receives 2024 President’s “E” Award for Export Expansion
Sable Systems International is the proud recipient of the 2024 President’s “E” Award for Exports, the highest recognition a U.S. entity can receive for making a significant contribution to the expansion of U.S. exports. Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade Diane Farrell presented the award to Robbin Turner, Sable Systems Chief Executive Officer, on May 14, 2024.
In her congratulatory letter to the company, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo stated “Sable Systems has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. The “E” Awards Committee recognizes Sable Systems’ significant growth over the past four years. The company’s flexible and market-driven sales and distribution channels were also notable. Sable Systems’ achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the U.S. economy and create American jobs.”
The President’s “E” Award was created in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy as an Executive Order, reviving the World War II “E” symbol of excellence to honor and recognize America’s exporters. This year is the 63rd anniversary of the “E” Awards ceremony, where a total of 64 U.S. companies and organizations from 32 states were presented with the President’s “E” and “E Star” Awards.
